Advanced Mode increases the total active ingredient limit to 35%, allowing greater flexibility for users familiar with higher-strength skincare routines and ingredient layering.

Higher active concentrations and complex formulations may increase the likelihood of:

More actives do not always produce better results. In many cases, simpler formulations may provide better long-term skin barrier support and overall tolerability.

Before Enabling Advanced Mode

We recommend that you:

Cosmocost automatically restricts many known incompatible ingredient combinations, but Advanced Mode still requires informed ingredient selection by the customer.
